Lithachne pinetii is known from localities with an annual mean temperature of 25.4°C and precipitation of 1274 mm. Temperatures show moderate seasonality (standard deviation ~175), varying from 31.7°C in the warmest month to 18.5°C in the coolest (isothermality ratio ~61). Precipitation shows considerable seasonality (coefficient of variation ~59), varying from 208 mm in the wettest month to 13 mm in the driest. The mean temperatures of the wettest (totaling 529 mm) and driest (totaling 71 mm) quarters being 26.9°C and 23.2°C, respectively, and the mean precipitation of the warmest (28.6°C) and coolest (21.9°C) quarters being 422 mm and 109 mm, respectively.
