HabitatElevation ProfilePrecipitation ProfileTemperature ProfileHumidity ProfileSolar Radiation ProfileWind Speed ProfileChusquea smithii is known from localities with an annual mean temperature of 13.9°C and precipitation of 949 mm. Temperatures show relatively little seasonality (standard deviation ~65.6), varying from 20.8°C in the warmest month to 5.3°C in the coolest (isothermality ratio ~79.4). Precipitation shows considerable seasonality (coefficient of variation ~59.3), varying from 147 mm in the wettest month to 21 mm in the driest. The mean temperatures of the wettest (totaling 424 mm) and driest (totaling 72 mm) quarters being 14.1°C and 13°C, respectively, and the mean precipitation of the warmest (14.6°C) and coolest (13°C) quarters being 285 mm and 72 mm, respectively.
