Chusquea mimosa is known from localities with an annual mean temperature of 17.8°C and precipitation of 1611 mm. Temperatures show considerable seasonality (standard deviation ~318.3), varying from 27.1°C in the warmest month to 8.1°C in the coolest (isothermality ratio ~53.9). Precipitation shows relatively little seasonality (coefficient of variation ~21.7), varying from 325 mm in the wettest month to 13 mm in the driest. The mean temperatures of the wettest (totaling 931 mm) and driest (totaling 75 mm) quarters being 19.6°C and 15.4°C, respectively, and the mean precipitation of the warmest (25.5°C) and coolest (9.7°C) quarters being 488 mm and 350 mm, respectively.
Tables and figures are dynamically generated by intersecting georeferenced herbarium specimen localities with 10 minute resolution WorldClim v2.1 variables (Fick and Hijmans 2017). The above data are subject to change as specimens and geocoordinates are added, removed or altered.
