Chusquea weberbaueri is known from localities with an annual mean temperature of 25.1°C and precipitation of 1900 mm. Temperatures show relatively little seasonality (standard deviation ~36.8), varying from 31.5°C in the warmest month to 19°C in the coolest (isothermality ratio ~87.1). Precipitation shows moderate seasonality (coefficient of variation ~36.3), varying from 301 mm in the wettest month to 62 mm in the driest. The mean temperatures of the wettest (totaling 766 mm) and driest (totaling 236 mm) quarters being 25°C and 25.1°C, respectively, and the mean precipitation of the warmest (27.1°C) and coolest (22°C) quarters being 442 mm and 446 mm, respectively.
