Chusquea scandens is known from localities with an annual mean temperature of 19°C and precipitation of 1608 mm. Temperatures show relatively little seasonality (standard deviation ~61.5), varying from 25.3°C in the warmest month to 12.3°C in the coolest (isothermality ratio ~82.8). Precipitation shows considerable seasonality (coefficient of variation ~55.8), varying from 620 mm in the wettest month to 1 mm in the driest. The mean temperatures of the wettest (totaling 1625 mm) and driest (totaling 7 mm) quarters being 19.2°C and 18.5°C, respectively, and the mean precipitation of the warmest (29°C) and coolest (2°C) quarters being 448 mm and 370 mm, respectively.
Tables and figures are dynamically generated by intersecting georeferenced herbarium specimen localities with 10 minute resolution WorldClim v2.1 variables (Fick and Hijmans 2017). The above data are subject to change as specimens and geocoordinates are added, removed or altered.
