Chusquea antioquensis is known from localities with an annual mean temperature of 21.2°C and precipitation of 2342 mm. Temperatures show relatively little seasonality (standard deviation ~38.7), varying from 27°C in the warmest month to 15.9°C in the coolest (isothermality ratio ~88.8). Precipitation shows moderate seasonality (coefficient of variation ~35.6), varying from 320 mm in the wettest month to 66 mm in the driest. The mean temperatures of the wettest (totaling 809 mm) and driest (totaling 255 mm) quarters being 20.8°C and 21.3°C, respectively, and the mean precipitation of the warmest (23.2°C) and coolest (19.4°C) quarters being 544 mm and 673 mm, respectively.
