Aulonemia robusta is known from localities with an annual mean temperature of 19.3°C and precipitation of 1992 mm. Temperatures show relatively little seasonality (standard deviation ~37.9), varying from 24.2°C in the warmest month to 13.8°C in the coolest (isothermality ratio ~85.2). Precipitation shows moderate seasonality (coefficient of variation ~48.1), varying from 457 mm in the wettest month to 25 mm in the driest. The mean temperatures of the wettest (totaling 1208 mm) and driest (totaling 95 mm) quarters being 19.3°C and 19°C, respectively, and the mean precipitation of the warmest (24.1°C) and coolest (12.1°C) quarters being 575 mm and 518 mm, respectively.
