Aulonemia queko is known from localities with an annual mean temperature of 19°C and precipitation of 1700 mm. Temperatures show relatively little seasonality (standard deviation ~59.2), varying from 25.3°C in the warmest month to 12.3°C in the coolest (isothermality ratio ~83.4). Precipitation shows considerable seasonality (coefficient of variation ~57.8), varying from 442 mm in the wettest month to 2 mm in the driest. The mean temperatures of the wettest (totaling 1285 mm) and driest (totaling 12 mm) quarters being 19.3°C and 18.5°C, respectively, and the mean precipitation of the warmest (26.4°C) and coolest (9.1°C) quarters being 526 mm and 332 mm, respectively.
