Aulonemia bogotensis is known from localities with an annual mean temperature of 21.3°C and precipitation of 2054 mm. Temperatures show relatively little seasonality (standard deviation ~51), varying from 27.7°C in the warmest month to 15.5°C in the coolest (isothermality ratio ~81.3). Precipitation shows considerable seasonality (coefficient of variation ~52.4), varying from 460 mm in the wettest month to 15 mm in the driest. The mean temperatures of the wettest (totaling 1317 mm) and driest (totaling 78 mm) quarters being 21°C and 21.5°C, respectively, and the mean precipitation of the warmest (28°C) and coolest (11.5°C) quarters being 361 mm and 674 mm, respectively.
