Arthrostylidium cubense is known from localities with an annual mean temperature of 24.5°C and precipitation of 1451 mm. Temperatures show considerable seasonality (standard deviation ~203), varying from 31.5°C in the warmest month to 16.8°C in the coolest (isothermality ratio ~62.7). Precipitation shows moderate seasonality (coefficient of variation ~47.9), varying from 225 mm in the wettest month to 27 mm in the driest. The mean temperatures of the wettest (totaling 635 mm) and driest (totaling 111 mm) quarters being 26.4°C and 22°C, respectively, and the mean precipitation of the warmest (28.3°C) and coolest (20.9°C) quarters being 505 mm and 178 mm, respectively.
