HabitatElevation ProfilePrecipitation ProfileTemperature ProfileHumidity ProfileSolar Radiation ProfileWind Speed ProfilePiresia palmula is known from localities with an annual mean temperature of 21°C and precipitation of 1038 mm. Temperatures show moderate seasonality (standard deviation ~152.5), varying from 26.7°C in the warmest month to 15.2°C in the coolest (isothermality ratio ~63). Precipitation shows relatively little seasonality (coefficient of variation ~22.9), varying from 131 mm in the wettest month to 41 mm in the driest. The mean temperatures of the wettest (totaling 353 mm) and driest (totaling 149 mm) quarters being 22.3°C and 19.8°C, respectively, and the mean precipitation of the warmest (23.1°C) and coolest (18.5°C) quarters being 298 mm and 232 mm, respectively. Tables and figures are dynamically generated by intersecting georeferenced herbarium specimen localities with 10 minute resolution WorldClim v2.1 variables (Fick and Hijmans 2017).
