Eremitis afimbriata is known from localities with an annual mean temperature of 19.2°C and precipitation of 1292 mm. Temperatures show considerable seasonality (standard deviation ~219.4), varying from 27.9°C in the warmest month to 8.8°C in the coolest (isothermality ratio ~64.8). Precipitation shows considerable seasonality (coefficient of variation ~64), varying from 216 mm in the wettest month to 27 mm in the driest. The mean temperatures of the wettest (totaling 620 mm) and driest (totaling 100 mm) quarters being 21°C and 16.3°C, respectively, and the mean precipitation of the warmest (21.8°C) and coolest (16.3°C) quarters being 453 mm and 100 mm, respectively.
