HabitatElevation ProfilePrecipitation ProfileTemperature ProfileHumidity ProfileSolar Radiation ProfileWind Speed ProfileChusquea arachniformis is known from localities with an annual mean temperature of 18.2°C and precipitation of 2522 mm. Temperatures show relatively little seasonality (standard deviation ~38.5), varying from 23.6°C in the warmest month to 13.3°C in the coolest (isothermality ratio ~86.1). Precipitation shows moderate seasonality (coefficient of variation ~42.7), varying from 322 mm in the wettest month to 62 mm in the driest. The mean temperatures of the wettest (totaling 861 mm) and driest (totaling 256 mm) quarters being 17.9°C and 18.4°C, respectively, and the mean precipitation of the warmest (18.7°C) and coolest (17.7°C) quarters being 668 mm and 670 mm, respectively.
